Lord, once I made I wise decision
To follow your path with precision
I have been tempted precisely with foolish pride
My desire for power is never satisfied
I have decided to love You with my whole heart
Take my mind and soul so we will not be apart
Keep me strong, but remind me it is Your strength
That keeps me close to You at any length
The Pharisees and high Priest made the decision
To follow the laws of Moses without any revision
It seems they had a distorted narrow view
Of the love in the law which comes from You
He had to choose. He had to decide
To do Your will, or to run and hide
Our Lord Jesus chose Love over the law
That should be the decision of us all
