Father

by Justin Bercheny   Aug 11, 2004

I am but 15.
A teen by all means.
Growing quickly, too quickly.
Seems like I'm a father.
Too young to be a father.
Still a virgin, yet a man.
Dawn til dusk, more then before.
Too young to be a father.
Still a virgin, yet a man.
More than a brother,
more then the sitter.
Too young to be a father.
Still a virgin, yet a man.

I wrote this when my paretns were about to adopt my cousin. It was over summer and I was repsonsible for him almost 7 days a week. I felt like I was his father. I didnt get to go out and have fun or anything like that so it was very hard for me. Sorry that it confused you Sara. God Bless
