My Life Goes By

My tears are falling down my eyes
Harder than the rain
I’m rewinding all the things you said to me
And every word causes more pain

You would always tell me
I want us to be together

I took all those words
And in my heart they were stored away
Trying my hardest to keep you here

And you wanted to have kids
The time for us to be together finally was getting closer

This was a sure shot
I should have seen it down the way
I mean really no one would ever love me
That’s just insane

But this was truly
A big let down

It is like you shut down my future
You shut down my life
All my plans down the drain
