A silent tear rolls down my cheek
i just cant get myself to speak
you say you need some space
you cant even look me in the face
i ask if there is anyway i can make you stay
anything to keep you from going away
you look at me with that sad look in your eyes
and a quick no was your reply
i just cant seem to let you go
you just don't seem to know
you mean the world to me
a greater love there couldn't be
i look up at you once again
trying not to show all the pain
you give me a hug and turn to leave
while i was thinking how stupid i was to believe
as you walked away, i stood there in the pouring rain
