Suicidal tendencies

I can feel it now...
The cold metal kiss of the gun,
resting firmly against me.
I remember what you had said,
“I’ll always be there”
But here I am, on the edge
And no one seems to care..
I let out a final exhausted breath,
And pull the trigger hard..
All goes black, all is gone

Warmth trickles down my face,
As I fall silently on the polished wooden floor
Watching bloody pools form on my mom’s varnish
my so called life flashes by once more

Mocking faces, lonely places
Broken promises empty spaces
I smile faintly...
As I know from them I have escaped
No more cold stares I tell myself,
No more harsh words that scar my soul
No tears, no restless nights
Just silence
Eternal silence
And sighing in relief
I close my eyes...

There are a LOT of suicide poems and I've read quite a few. This is definitely one of the best!

I liked it, but it was a bit jerky in some parts. It didn't flow quite right.
    "Mocking faces, lonely places
    Broken promises empty spaces"
those are two great lines, definitely my favorites out of this poem.

By the way, is cyan the right color to use, it is sorta a greenish-blue...

I pray that was a fictional thought and not one that you've felt or thought for yourself...that was deep and heartfelt. No one can make you feel worthless unless you feel that for yourself already...you are worth more than that! You have a gift!! I gave you a 5!Bravo!!
