I had no friends at least back then
So I made one up I named him Ben
We'd play pranks on my parents
Get into trouble too
I was glad I had Ben
He was glad he had me too
Then one day he said he had to go
Somewhere far away from my home
I asked him when he'd be back
He said never I guess you'll be alone
I was thinking about what I'd do without him
He was my only friend
Later that day a girl came along
Asked me my name
Then she asked 'do you want to play a game?'
We did and I was happy we were friends forever from that day
But I'll never forget Ben and the day he went away
