My Sunshine

My sunshine has gone
U hurt me so bad.
I though u said you'd be my rock.
But instead u hit me with your cruel words
When I was down and out.
Each one piercing my heart like a knife.
Making my heart bleed
and my soul tremble from loneliness.
The tears stream down my face.
My hands shake from emotions.
You threatened to leave me
so I let you go.
Thinking you loved me enough to come back.
But a few days later I learned
that you had someone else.
So I died a little inside
each day
each hour
each minute.
Hoping that one day
I'll see the sunshine again.
