It's hard to be a teenager,
Adults don't understand.
They say we've got it great,
Like walking on the sand.
But what they don't get,
Is what the pressure is like in school.
Trying not to act like,
A complete and total fool.
Balancing homework to boys,
To people saying sh*t.
I don't even know them,
Yet I still throw a fit.
My parents say they love me,
And that they'll always be there.
But every now and then,
They don't seem to care.
Everyone always says,
That doing drugs is bad.
But everyone is doing it,
Which makes me want to..just a tad.
All high school is,
Is a huge peer-pressure thing.
You don't want to be yourself,
And hide behind all your bling-bling.
So all you adults out there,
Who think it's all easy.
Try living in my shoes,
And then you will see.
