Thats all done

Summer is almost over
and school is about to start
I wish things were still the same
I didn't want us to fall apart

Its gonna be different
who knows what will happen now
us four drifted apart
I don't really know how

everything was great
the four best friends
but at the end of the year
all that came to an end

now we are split
not all of us are together
I never thought that would happen
I though we'd be forever

we'll be in high school
this is what we have waited for
now we won't go through it together
and I miss it even more

but no matter how we end up
we'll always have 8th grade
when we were all best friends
then we had to watch it fade

but I'll never forget the track meets
or seeing each other after every class
meeting at Erika's locker
we had such a blast

sledding at that hill in the winter
the maple syrup festival was fun
summer fest until it rained
but I guess thats all done
