Different directions

I sit and read best friend poems all night
Wiping tears from my eyes so I have a sight
In my heart I wish you would stay
I feel really blue since you have gone away

You stuck with me when things were bad
Put a smile on my face when I was sad
You would listen to me on the phone
When I cried in a really high tone

I know I'll never let them fade
All the memories that we made
We promised we would be best friends every day
but things didn't work out that way

When we parted things got tough
As days went on it got more rough
you broke my heart into two
now what do I do

Sometimes I wish that I would die
Because without you all I do is cry
when people walk by me they think I have a defection
ever since we split up into a different direction
