When I Hold You

by Timothy   Aug 16, 2004

When I hold you, in a mesmerizing embrace,
Gravity frees us, in our orbital grace;
When we partake our heavenly dance,
The Earth dares not hold us, in this erotic stance.

When I hold you, there is an ethereal cloud,
There is no one else, wrapped within this heart-stitched shroud;
The world turns, but I swear it stands still,
Because when I breathe your breath, It's my solitary thrill.

When I hold you, it is the taste of some exotic drink,
It is a primal yearning, and I don't have to think;
Our hearts beat, in-tuned as one,
Take my hand! Take my hand! As we fly away...into the sun.
