I CLOSED MY EYES

I CLOSED MY EYES

When I closed my eyes, for the final time,
I was headed for that place devine,

yes I was travelling, this time all alone,
because our father Had called from his great throne,

as I travel on my way, my heart sings and sings,
soon I am guided by a pair of angel wings,

soaring up to heaven, where the father lives,
I see the number seven, the highest number our father gives,

as we approach our father's door, I feel so very humble and so all alone,
the big door opens , I feel a gentle nudging for me to come on home,

I heard a kind of swishing sound, then his voice said welcome home my son,
your trials are all over, your work on earth is done,

you found your one and only and you passed the test,
when you loved her only and gave up all the rest,

no you were not perfect in your life down below,
now you must work for me, so grab some wings and go,

from somewhere far behind him, I hear this frightened scream,
I opened up my eyes again, it was all a dream.
