MY TREASURE

MY TREASURE

I met her in the mountains, it was early spring,
I took one look, heard one word and my heart began to sing,
she looked so very natural as I looked upon the scene,
I just stood there in silence, as I looked at this sweet dream,
I asked her if she was real, as real as she could be,
then I told her why I asked, she looked like a dream to me,
as I gazed at her in wonder and I looked into her eyes,
then I felt the thunder, but there was only clear blue skies,
the lightning crashed around us, she ran into my arms,
I was shivering with excitement as I looked at all her charms,
my heart was beating wildly, it was filled with pleasure,
yes out there on the mountain was where I met my treasure.
