One Moves On

by Nobrainy_duh   Aug 16, 2004

My friend is moving on,
Accepted by the crowd,
Becoming more and more popular,
Accepted in and out,

I try to feel happy for her,
She's wanted it all her life,
But deep down I feel so lonely,
Like she's leaving me out,

I try to let her be,
To hang out with her new friends,
But the more I do this,
The more she's with them, not me,

Without realizing it,
She leaves me behind,
I feel alone and unaccepted,

I want to take this chance,
To make new friends too,
But no one else likes me,
What in the world should I do?

Deep down I feel so lonely,
As I slowly slip away,
She grows in popularity,
As I slowly sink away,
And out of her life.

By the way, I wrote this poem in 8th grade, (I'm a senior now), and my freind that I'm talking about in this poem and I are over the whole situation. We're freinds again, and we've grown stronger! Keep the comments coming! Peace!
