Another Love Poem

by Kimberly Day   Aug 16, 2004

We've now been together,
For three years.
I know we'll be the true meaning of forever.
Even though the problems we've had,
And all of our spent tears,
Sometimes makes me real sad,
I love you more everyday.
If only I could make you see just how much,
With all the ways there are to say,
But they'll never be enough words to explain such.

I lie in your arms,
Listening to your heart,
You make me forget all of my past harms.
You've had the ability to do that from the start.
The things you say to me,
Make me feel so happy inside,
Like how much of a beautiful bride I'll be.
Let me tell you now,
There'll never be a deeper love than mine.

And when we make love,
You can easily make me tremble,
I can touch the clouds that are high above,
The emotions and sensations are incredible.
Our hearts beat in unison,
For that short time we're truly one.
You gently run your hands down my body,
Using only your fingertips.
You never really care that my lipstick,
Is on your own lips.
And when we reach our climax,
I feel weightless like I'm in space,
And I always smile and run my hands,
Gently over every inch,
Of your beautiful own smiling face.

You'll always be my man,
And I'll always be your girl.
I promise to try the best I can,
To give you everything that I am.
I'll bind my life to yours,
And we'll be together always.
But I want you to know that I'm yours forever,
And if we ever come apart,
My life and heart will tear,
But baby believe me now,
I promise I'll always care.

Deep in my heart I know see,
That the best things in life,
Are really free.
