Did He Love Her, or Not?

She thought it was perfect
The most beautiful thing made,
But this relationship she loved
Would somehow mysteriously fade.

Everything seemed to go smoothly
Nothing out of line,
This tightly joined couple
Said "I Love You" with a magical sign.

They went out for 2 months
But then broke up for 3 days,
There was so much confusion
But it seemed to be a phase.

They got back together
While dancing on the floor,
She was happy to have him again
She thought they had opened a new door.

But this time
They broke up for real,
When he broke it off with her, he cried
How did he really feel?

If he cried saying goodbye to her
Does it mean he really loved her?,
Or were they tears to show he cared
But didn't feel he deserved her?

Whatever the answer
The girl missed him and his smile,
She'd always remember him
But she'd only miss him for a while.

She said goodbye to him
She knew this time it was through,
She'd some day find another love
Maybe one brand new.

She still wondered though
If he still liked her a lot,
She wanted to ask him
Did he love her, or not?
