You lived in a house right next door,
We were middle class but you took a detour,
Your grandfather died and you got all his money,
You bought a big house and you thought it was funny.
You became to good for me or so you thought,
We grew farther apart and most of the time we fought,
I didn't have the right sized room,
and didn't have the right costume.
You were embarrassed to be around me,
You always wanted to go on a shopping spree,
I didn't have the time or the money,
but you just kept insisting, honey!
You thought you were cool and you had it all,
but just cause your rich doens't mean you won't fall,
You fell hard and couldn't get up,
Nobody cared about your things they were all fed up.
Just because you had a large pool,
You thought that your were finally cool,
But you were wrong and you soon found out,
You were confused and began to pout.
You finally realized it's not what you owned,
It's who you are and how you always moaned,
You had no friends now and grew very sad,
you were all alone and grew out of the fad.
