Unconditional Love

I search through the ads,
For a love that is real,
For a love that will always be there,
And a love I can feel,

I see many different types,
And some seem enticing,
But then I see the fine print,
And they don't seem so inviting,

As I keep searching for a love for me,
I start to get down and depressed,
I think I'll stop for now,
Maybe there's better luck after some rest,

The next morning I begin again,
And I see something I didn't see before,
The ad said "Unconditional Love",
And that you'll never need anything more,

This love was everything I wanted,
Unconditional, everlasting, even a life-long guarantee,
It's hard to believe such a love exists,
And even more that it's just for me!

How can I get this love,
Is what I want to know,
It must be difficult to receive,
If it's all it shows,

I read about it,
And I don't believe my eyes,
There is no type of price to pay,
And no type of compromise,

The price was paid,
Two thousand years ago,
By a man on a cross,
For all that come and go,

Only God can give this love,
No matter what you've done in life,
He offers it so freely,
Through all the suffering and strife,

I accepted this love,
My life is so much better now,
Though I am not perfect I still make mistakes,
I am always forgiven when I come to a bow.
