The Room ®

by Sarah   Aug 18, 2004

Here I sit alone in the room.
How slowly I grew up here...
Before I viewed it only as "doom".
For being alone only brought great fear.

I've moved out and still I keep moving.
But none of the walls seem to be fitting.

What I think I am missing is someone to hold.
Someone to wrap their arms around me.
I want to find the one who's strong and bold.
Someone who will set my heart free.

I know when I find him at home I'll be.
And every wall shall at last just fit!
Together we'll hold the key.
Because side by side we'll sit,
In what we'll make...the room.
