Another Bad Day

by sarah   Aug 19, 2004

Another bad day begins,
With broken Promises
And fallen tears,
Unleashed with my poison fears,
Smeared red gloss of blood that shines,
Through my blurry eyes,
Cries of hurtful lies,
The seeping wound beckons,
For the sweet knife to sing her beautiful song,
One more time,
Her song of the silent crime,
Deprived from the world,
In my dark chamber,
Where no one else can be,
A safe place for my insecurities,
I cover up my dismember body,
While the splashes of blood expose through my clothes,
I lay on my bed as I close my eyes,
Waiting for another bad day to rise.

Excellently written. That was so sad, but so beautiful at the same time. I loved it. Kudos.
