A Dying Ember

by Krillin   Aug 20, 2004

My love for you was like a star,
Shining softly in the night.
But now the dawn comes swiftly,
And bathes me in its light.

My love for you was a white hot flame,
That I can't help but remember.
But the flame that once burned for you,
Is now a dying ember.

My love for you is like a ghost,
That haunts me from my past.
Now that ghost is fading out,
I've said goodbye at last.
