Bring you back

by Mild insomnia   Aug 22, 2004

It’s just the way I am,
It’s not my fault; I give a damn,
I will not go to sleep, until you’re free.

If I could save your soul,
Or fill that empty hole,
You know I would, I’d do anything for love.

Another sleepless night,
As I fight for what’s right,
Trying to fulfil your dreams,
And bring you back to life.
Mending your heart, and trying,
To keep you from pain, I’m crying,
When you’re so down, can’t you see?
I’m dying.

I’m not one to back down,
I never give up, and I won’t now,
So help me help, it’s getting hard, all by myself.

I’ll find a way I know,
Somehow there’s a ray of hope,
No I can’t relax, until you’re back.

This hill’s getting steeper,
As I grow weaker,
I will bring you back,
Can’t you see that…?
I won’t loose you,
Promise you,
I’ll save you,
I have to,
With out you,
I can’t do,
I need you.
Not giving up, no,
Not letting you go,
Oh.

Another sleepless night,
As I fight for what’s right,
Trying to fulfil your dreams,
And bring you back to life.
Mending your heart, and trying,
To keep you from pain, I’m crying,
When you’re so down, can’t you see?
I’m dying.
