I am you, you are me

by alfie   Aug 22, 2004

If i am the wind, you are the rain,
Without you here I'd go insane.

If i am the sun, you are the moon,
I'd wait forever for you to come back soon.

If i am the planets, you are the stars,
If you wanted, I'd fly to mars.

If i am the river, you are the sea,
You are my destination, somewhere to be.

If i am the night, you are the day,
I would surely die if you went away.

If i am the trees, you are the leaves,
You are my air, i need you to breathe.

If i am heaven, you are hell,
You're my medicine, keeping me well.
I am you, you are me,
And if you left, I wouldn't be.

It's a good poem but, don't let me offend you or anything, shouldn't it be if I am hell, you are heaven? I don't think that the one you seek would like to be called "hell". The rest is nice though.
