So Crazy

It seems like every time
I hear someone
behind me in the hall

They seem to sound
just like that guy
but they really don't at all

I always swear
I hear his voice
when no one is around

And everyone
that passes by
looks just like him now

'Cause when I like
someone so much
for along amount
of time

What's real is gone
I'm out of touch
and I start to lose
my mind

I start to get excited
at the mention of
his name

I find that I'm delighted
when our classes are
the same

Sometimes I take
a different set of stairs
if I know he takes them too

When I'm at lunch
I pick a certain seat
just to get a better view

And if his class
is close to mine
then I can't wait
to hear the bell

So I can race
right out the door
and see him...
if I timed it well

And in the winter
when the windows
on the bus
get all fogged up

Right in the center's
where our names go
and between them
I write "loves"

I think I'm 'bout
to lose my mind
and you can tell
that I don't care

I tried to check him out
one time
but then I fell
right down the stairs

So can someone out there tell me,
have you ever felt this way?

Have you liked someone so much before,
that you nearly went insane?

There's one thing
in this whole wide world
to make this all feel better

If I could somehow
be his girl
we'd feel this way together
