Deep within my sorrow

Days seem gloomier,
Now that your gone.
My heart is heavy,
Tattered and torn.

What happened to no good-byes?
I ask as I dry my eyes.
We could have worked through,
All the fights and lies.

Not once,twice,
But many times before.
You shattered my heart,
Walked over the pieces on the floor.

Every time,
I kept coming back.
Opening my heart,
For yet another attack.

So many good times,
So many bad.
Do you ever wonder?
Do you ever get sad?

I opened up to you,
Now I close away.
Buried deep within my sorrow,
