Heres your letter...
through sickness and health
the one in which
I only think about myself

Heres your letter...
that you were dying to get
spin the roulette wheel
risk everything and make a bet

Heres your letter...
will it make you cry?
or maybe you'll smile
at the fact I'm going to die?

Heres your letter...
read about my heartache and pain
because you'll never have to see
my face ever again

Heres your letter...
will you even read it?
your in it too
in the really long bit

Heres your letter...
did you tear it up?
soak it with alcohol
in your beer cup

Heres you letter...
maybe you'll burn it with your lighter
can you just accept
that I'm not quite the fighter

Heres your letter...
are you bloody happy now?
in red ink I wrote it
you'll never know how

Heres your letter...
do you care?
that when you read it...
I won't be there

well...

Heres my letter...
I wrote it for me
because all my pain
I just won't let you see
has got so bad
that I'm dying inside
and inside the envelope
I'm going hide
So that if and when
you open my letter
all my problems
will get better
because I'll be there
sat with you
and I'll be happy
because I know what to do

Heres your letter...

we'll share the sadness
and the pain I'm going through
because in the end
this letter might not kill me
but a little sadder
I know I'll be!

*I thought of the title to this poem before I wrote it and I went by the idea of suicide notes. It starts with me almost showing hate to the reader, but turns around into me wanting them to help.

I think a lot of people feel this way towards people and they need someone to care and when they show they do, they will be happy...
...and maybe won't want to die.*
