Just Look Into My Eyes.

If you just looked into my eyes,
There's a lot that you would see,
Everything I'm feeling,
Reflecting back at me.

If you reached into my heart,
You might actually feel the pain,
How it's locked up without a key,
Trapped within the chains.

If you hacked inside my mind,
You'd find secrets you never knew,
Things that are so shocking,
You wouldn't think them true.

If by chance you caught a tear,
Invisible to the eye,
And you held it close enough,
You'd see the reasons why.

Just look into my mirror,
You'd see a stained reflection,
With an abused conscious and mind,
And a distorted complexion.

If you lived inside my world,
You'd know I'm dead inside,
You'd see everything I've felt,
And know all the places I hide.

If you felt inside my soul,
You'd wonder why I still believe,
After everything that's happened,
How badly I've been deceived.

Just look into my eyes,
This fake me would disappear,
A new person you would find,
That for so long, has just wanted to appear.
