Stained

by Amanda   Aug 23, 2004

Dried tears created a stain
that lye's on the little boys cheek
he cries every day, and his heart is bruised, and he's becoming even more weak

Dried blood stains the shirt
that the little boy wears
he's beaten up
and thrown around, because nobody cares

Stains on the inside
stains all around
and on the outside I suppose
Stained tears and stained blood
they become more rapid and grow

His cheeks look glossy
cause all you can see
is stained tears on his cheek

His shirt looks no longer the same
because it is blood stained
and who is to blame

He gets beaten up and thrown around
and as does his heart

He has stains on his cheeks
stains on his shirts
stains on his heart too
Who will clean up all these stains
will it be her or me or you.

Girl, I thought your poem was GREAT! It was descriptive and put a picture in my head of that poor little boy. I hope this didn't really happen. Don't worry if no one comments; you're only a bad poet if YOU think so, but I think you're good. Keep it up!:)
