Every day.

by beaver   Aug 23, 2004

Every day is a repetition,
Of days gone by before,
I walk in my own shadow,
Going through the same old door,
Every day is cloudy,
The sun, it never shines,
Living in a dream world,
Wishing you were mine,
Turning every corner,
Crossing every road,
My ever increasing burdens,
Weigh such a heavy load,
Good fortune never comes my way,
Pleasure is hard to find,
I am desperately seeking happiness,
Your forever on my mind.

what a lovely poem. The rhyming was great, it flowed nicely and wasn't at all forced. It also had a very sweet and slightly sad ending. Well done.
