It Isn't Fair

by Moriah Trimm   Aug 23, 2004

It isn't fair.
It isn't fair how all he could do was love her.
It isn't fair how all he wanted to do was hold her.
It isn't fair that all he cared about was being with her.
It isn't fair that all that mattered to him was her.
It isn't fair the way his last moments with her were.
It isn't fair the way all he does is hurt because he loved her.
It isn't fair now that she's gone and he feels all alone.
It isn't fair now that circumstances have changed for the worst.
It isn't fair that he's in trouble now for something he couldn't help.
It isn't fair that his fate lies with those who know him not,
for if they knew him they would surely see the truth behind the curtain.
Mostly, it isn't fair that he has to live with the facts as well as the strangers decistions.
It simply isn't fair.
