Would you really care?

I feel it rise in my throat
It's the coming of new tears
And that empty feeling in my stomach
It's caused by my fears

I heard them talk about me
Saying I'm a disgrace
I think it hurts worse
Because they can't say it to my face

I can feel the sting
And it makes my head ache
The tremble of my lips
All from a heart break

I can feel that he'll die
I feel my heart's shattered screams
He left me with broken promises,
Broken ribs, and broken dreams

When I breathe, it's unsteady
And I can't control the shakes
The sun hurts my burning eyes
My heart slowly breaks

I could say a million words
But I'm too tired, hurt, and scared
I could tell you I tried to kill myself
But would you really care?
