Flying, Soaring

by Timothy   Aug 24, 2004

Over the waves,
On the back of the sea breeze;
Flying, soaring, so high...
That you can taste the air that the sun breathes.

It is a place where Icarus dared tread,
Although he was punished for his intrusion;
This is a gift for you and I, we are free,
The confinement of Terra is only an illusion.

Watching the clouds below, it is serenity,
I never want to let go of your hand;
Flying, soaring, so high...
Your wish is my command.

I do not want to come back to reality,
Yet, the paramedics are trying with all their might;
They are trying to recusitate me, pull me from you,
But I won't let them, because you have already lost the fight.
