11:00 News

What do you see when u look at me?
Do you see a girl lonely and afraid of what's gonna be?
Do you think she's in pain and she just wants it all to end?
Should you stop and ask if she needs your help at all?
Or should you just keep on walking and leave her alone?
When you wake up the next day and turn on the TV,
And you see something flashing at the bottom of the screen,
“Stay tune for your headline news,
Including a young girl having an over dosage and dies at only 17.
She was at the movies when she decided to put her life to a rest.
All this and more at 11:00 so stay tune for the best!”
You tune back in at 11:00 all nervous and upset,
As they talk about the story and you hold your breath
They talked to her parents who were crying and they were quit upset.

You begin to feel guilty,
You replay in your mind what happened and what you thought was no big deal.
You begin to think what if I talked to her; maybe she had something to say and had a deep wound in need of healing.
Maybe if she didn't feel so lonely she would have been able to deal.
Maybe you should have given her a piece of your precious time.
You begin to feel horrible, cause you could have saved someone just in the nick of time.

Your TV goes to commercial
As you feel so bad, and wish you too were also dead.
But what's done is done what did is did,
No matter how hard you wish what you did will not change.
The News came back on, as you are ashamed,
Then the newscaster begins,
“Though we do not know what brings her to this,
But here's a girl were all gonna miss,”
Just then a pictured flashed across the screen,
You couldn't help but to cry cause you didn't stop her pain.
But the world keeps on spinning as the news says again,
“We checked the movie surveillance cameras, and no body asked if she's OK.
Most people passed her by and continued on with there days.”
Just then you turn off the TV for you can't take much more then this.

You live on, you move on,
But you'll never forget,
As you go to the movies and reminisce,
As you arrive u get exited,
For you have wanted to see this movie for months on end.
Your friend parks the car,
As you run for the door,
You buy your ticket,
As they hand it to you, you look to see where the girl u saw sitting there on your last trip had been.
You noticed a girl in the same exact seat,
With a look on her face won by defeat.
You look at your ticket you look at your friend,
You look at the girl and you look at the time,
Then all of a sudden you ran back in line.
You buy an extra ticket and give it to the girl and tell her “everything is gonna be fine,
It's a comedy it will hopefully cheer you up and get things off your mind,
Then later we'll have dinner and make things better; we will help u solve your problems and what ever is bothering you will hopefully leave your mind.”
And there it started a friendship that will never die,
And you'll never pass by a lonesome person for this experience will stay in your mind.
