Suffocating

by Timothy   Aug 25, 2004

I'm through,
I can not listen to another word;
I have heard it all before,
The situation is beyond absurd.

You say you went to your mother's,
But I know that is not where you were;
I test you,
Another untruthful conglomeration you stir.

When you say Hello, I wonder if it's true,
You hand me another bite, and expect me to chew;
I'm choking...on all your lies,
I think, long ago, you broke the ties.

Someone has to stop this horrendous routine,
Erase the slate, wipe it clean;
But we can't do it together, we need a reprieve,
Because WE are suffocating...and we need to breathe.

    I'm choking...on all your lies." just made me feel something and loved the way it just makes sense. xxx
