La-Di-Da

by craig   Aug 25, 2004

My lips were starved, my heart was too
my eyes as moist as morning dew
the dark of life, my blackest days
wretched/wasted in stony haze
craving highs but heading low
the author of all my woes
on my knees I prayed for mercy
hoping someone cared and heard me

Then next morn came into view
a distant star all bright and new
something sweet and precious rare
appearing out of thinest air
shone forth a light with rainbow rays
illuminating up my maze
proffering a shortcut out
a loving faithful tender route

Out of the sky she came to me
showed me what love can be
repaired and healed my broken wing
taught me how to fly and sing
warmed me with her tonal grace
beguiled me with her luscious face
and in alluring hypnotic style
devoured me with her sultry smile

Out of the blue life took a spin
a revolution from within
once empty days sparked with joy
meaningless moments were destroyed
the deepest ocean estranged my twin
but not as deep as the love we`re in
so she built a boat made for two
on tsunami waves sailed us through

Love you honey, ya s*xy little thang...all that distance and yet we were never apart xxx
