Chamomile

by Marisa Lishay   Aug 25, 2004

Soft like chamomile, sweet like rain,
giving my heart to you has never been in vain.

Seductive as aphrodisiac, passionate all the same,
can you explain why my heart skips a beat
whenever i hear your name?

Serene as chamomile, quiet as a mouse,
peace is a privilege, action can cause
multiple effects, I've gone great lengths
to keep that privilege.

Sexy like a new outfit, unique as leather,
I'd wear you any day,
snow, sleet, or rain.

Smart as Einstein, luscious as double fudge,
if i snag a bite, would it make me genius?
Sensual like candles upon darkness;
you lighting up my day,
would be like putting fire in the sky.

Sooth me like chamomile,
take all my worries away.
