You Love Him

by Armed-Alcoholic   Aug 25, 2004

I see from across the room
In his direction you stare
Silently I wonder
Why it's him for whom you care

Your every breath, your every thought
Consumed with visions of him
Every course of action, every move you make
Based on lusts and whims

It seems to me like you
Want just what you can't have
Take for granted what you do
With just a chuckle and a laugh

If you neglect your true friends
On the gamble of just one person
You'll have no one there to help
And your problems will only worsen

But liking him is your choice
I cannot change your mind
I am but just one small voice
Who is trying to be kind

So with tears streaming down my face
I will let you leave
Just remember when everyone's gone
You'll still always have me

That was very very good. Whoever you wrote this for is extremely extremely lucky to have a friend like you!! It is so rara to come by someone who really does care and who really will stick by and be there no matter what. Now that they have you, they shouldn't ever let you go...they're so lucky!
    Love always
