INSOMNIA

Cant sleep again,
Your eating into my brain,
Taking over my life,
Causing me pain,
Another lonely night,
Your so far away,
Hoping and praying,
I can face another day,
Tried closing my eyes,
Counting them sheep,
But the only solution,
Is to lie here and weep.

    This poem is what I go through like twice a month. I'm awake for at least 6 days. I tell my husband it feels like you are going insane. My body and mind are wide awake, but my eyes burn becuase they are tired. The doctors finally gave me ambien so thats been helping. Anyways I loved this poem because I can relate, awesome job on describing it!!!

    I know the feeling, I never sleep especially when I'm angry or sad. I like this poem short and to the point. Good work
