Have you ever
layed awake at night
stared into the darkness
just praying for light

Have you ever had a nightmare
from which you couldn't wake
and it just got so intense
it was more then u could take

Have you ever felt the touch
of evil upon your skin
knowing no matter what you do
you can never wash away the sin

Have you ever fell in love
passion that burns
you give them your heart
but receive nothing in return

Have you ever felt hate
so intense like fire
racing though your veins
a sinful desire

Have you ever cried
so much you feel drained
and nothing in the world
can take away this pain

Have you ever wished
upon a star in the sky
longing to grow wings
and fly up above so high

Have you ever looked in the mirror
and couldn't believe what you see
thought to yourself
is that person really me?

Have you ever felt so stressed
you didn't know what to do
and just wished you had an angel
some one to help you through

Have you ever felt so lonely
stayed and cried in bed all day
praying for god
to take your pathetic life away

The answer to my problems
i turn to my only friend
the one who will be there
until my tragic end

Making me forget
all the things suppressed inside
releasing my pain
and the things i hide

Have you ever had a friend
that helps you live life
a friend just like mine
my only friend, my knife
