Wow this is so good. I've only met my father once and didn't like him so I know what it's like. Keep up the good work and thanks for commenting on my work

I'm sorry you never met your father. As the messege goes, I used to look up to my father. He was the best person in my life. Then some things...well I guess you could say they went wrong and things changed between us. But thank you for the comments. They mean a lot to me. I really look forward to reading more of your work. It seems I can relate to it.

As sad as it may be, it's the way I feel. I know verse eight is pretty sad, and it took me a long to time to finally come out and say it to myself. I'm sorry I feel this way sometimes, but at other times I feel it actually helps me to move on.

*hugs you* For once I am understood, I will never forget you, or what you have said.

I have much anger towards the topic of this poem, and all of it is true. Everything just...went wrong I guess. Thank you.

Good poem, sounds like it came from the heart.

Oh Malinda, I am so sorry for that. My cousin has a father that lives down the street...he never really talks to her. I know how it is, because she shared her pain with me, as if I was living it as my own. Maybe sometimes you should drop by without notice, see how he handles it. Thank you for the comment, things will get better, don't worry.
