Your eyes sparkling green.
You took my breath away,
The most beautiful eyes I'd ever seen.

I spoke to you,
Your lips curved up into a smile.
And I wanted to lose myself in it,
If only for a while.

Your eyes glittered with hate,
Your mouth turned down into a frown.
And I felt my love, my hope,
Plummeting down.
