No one to Blame

by LAURA   Aug 27, 2004

No one to blame,
I bring my own pain.
You must think I'm insane

As I take a sip from the bottle,
My pain begins to flow,
No one is around when I drown myself with sorrow

I thirst to be wanted, I drink to be free from all this misery,
I tilt the bottle back in hopes time will elapse,
But find myself each morning clasping another bottle.

No one to blame,
I bring my own pain.
You must think I'm insane

It's another world within the bottle,
It takes away the pain and it takes away sorrow
But just for a lil while, until I wake from this drunken slumber

My mind goes blank; I can finally escape
Free of this dreaded place,
My vision goes blurry, can't even recognize my own face

No one to blame,
I bring my own pain.
You must think I'm insane
