No one really knows what kind of bond we share
And even if i told them, they probably wouldn't care.
We met through boyfriends and instantly became friends.
We always told each other that our friendship would never end.
We were together the whole Summer; and in time
It was like we became one; in heart, body, and mind.
You were there for my first of almost everything
You were even best friends with the first guy i ever loved
You were my best friend but also an angel sent to me from heaven above
When my life was horrible and no one stood by my side
You stuck around and helped me through my life that was a roller coaster ride
I reached out to friends and family but they didn't understand or seem to care
At least i had you because you promised you'd always be there
You went places with me that i really needed to go, and because all that happened
I just wanted to make sure you know;

I cant believe all of our history
Some people say that you brought me down but i say you brought me back up, and i cant repay you enough
We've both been to hell and back and I'm glad that i went through that long and rough journey with you
Inside i have your blood and you have mine
That just goes to show that our bond is special and one-of-a-kind
I love you so much and it breaks my heart
Knowing that i almost made our friendship fall apart
Memories will flow through my head of all the fun sad and bad times we've had
