The prostitute I met

by Ş∂ņďħy∂   Aug 28, 2004

A first time
I felt butterflies in my stomach
In between a gray world
I spotted a colorful figure

When the thorns pricked my finger
I didn’t understand what red meant
Unconscious, but following her steps
I faced the beauty an inch distant
I don’t remember what I susurrated
A smile with a twinkle in her eyes
Is what I got as a reply
It pulled me into a world of dreams
In a short time, I was with Venus

I was dissolved in her feelings
She took me to a world which,
was familiar only in my dreams
No poet can describe it enough

I woke up alone on the bed,
Realizing that she never held my hand,
I was no more in a fairyland,
I was late to recognize the nymphet.
On my way back to my home
I found the rose, once a gift to her
Lying on the floor smashed by many feet
Escalating the bitter impact on my heart.

Nice poem yet again, your words took my mind away, to the fairyland :) That was beautifully written, I loved it. Keep up the good work, and take care :)

I really liked it. I didn't expect it to be like it was was when I clicked on it. But i'm so glad I did. I love the ending how he reilzed the women never held his hand, and the rose he gave her was on the floor. Amazing job.

  • Oops! Lots of mistakes...Looks like i have to go back to school! I feel so stupid... I promise that next time i will be more careful.
