Today's generation

by Ş∂ņďħy∂   Aug 28, 2004

Impatient, Hasty people I see
They search for a missing key
To solve the puzzle of life
When they have not yet sorted
The pieces that have been collected

Not bothering what today has
They tend to worry about tomorrow
They plead to God for some brightness
For them, life is filled with sorrow
And the good they own is worthless.

A small dot can reveal a big picture
Each time, it may look different
The naive is afraid of sincere stricture
He hides from his own shadows
And sticks to an ordinary fixture

People forget their smile that glitters
They get used to the sad face in the mirror.
Cross the hurdles; don’t be a quitter
If only one believed in themselves,
The world would have offered them better.
