Never see him again

by Chelsea   Aug 28, 2004

She acknowledged that she would never see him again.
All she had left were distant memories.
She remembered the radiant times
Walking along the powdered sand.
And when things were bitter over an airy word.

Sighing, she wished he didn't have to go,
She missed his silent presence when they would just glimpse at one another.
She thinks about the day it happened.
She was waiting patiently for him to arrive on the sunless day,
Not aware he was not going to come.

Finding out the saddening news that would affect her life forever.
Her mother can remember the look on her young fearfull face.
It blanched and lifeless like she had just seen a ghost.
Her heart had droped and she would never be her outgoing self agin,
She still can't see him in his physical being, but she will always be in her heart.
