Father-Daughter Secret

by Andrea   Aug 28, 2004

Torn by a fathers love
Stripped of all her rights
He took her reason
He stole her will to love

Deprived her of strength
He had went to far
She was too seducing
The wanting

The wanting of her
The sin never mattered
To take advantage of something so precious
Taken too far

Too late
She didn't know the crime
He did
Exposed

His little secret
Her little secret
Never to be shared
6 years old

Scared, flinched
Being touched
Frightened
Never to know the true meaning of love

Damaged
It was eating her.
Would it drive her to some horrible mistake?
Her soul, her heart broken

Shivering
Her sadness could never be determined
He told her she was a bad girl who needed to punished
Such an early age

So young, Helpless
More years go by
The dust rolls on
As she goes on

Someone else
Finally a smile
Treats her right
Happiness

HE finds out
Desperation grows deeper
Her urgency and sadness
Who knew where it would lead?

HE gets jealous
Envies for who is taking her away
Revenge
HE wanted her all to Himself

Rage takes over
Drunk
Reads the love letter of the place to be met
HE catches up before she arrives

Their secret place
There the young boy is awaiting her
Not expecting Him
The boy knows the secret

HE knows that the boy knows
At the edge of the cliff
Below nothing but boulders?
She arrives

Too late
Sadness consumes her
Nowhere left to go
No one to turn to now

She looked up to him
HE took advantage
She left
He left

She started a new life
HE was gone but still apart of her
Every move she made
HE was there

She gave Him everything,
Still feeling as if she owed Him
HE took it graciously
Nothing existed to temper his desire

Whatever HE wanted or said
HE was right
Whoever opposed Him
Was wrong

HE had the power
The responsibility when HE took her child hand
HE had a choice
HE had made his

HE took something from her she never knew she had
But she spent her life struggling again to find
Always looking for what wasn?t there
All in the wrong places, she would never find

Ruined
Her life gone, His still alive
The craziness it drove her too
The guilt he never had

His satisfaction
Her weakness
She played it hard never to be broken down
Hating every man

Seducing and planning from the start
Devastated and destroyed took her path of life
Her innocence stolen
Overwhelmed by pain and disillusionment

Her life gone wrong
Because of her horrible secret
A secret hidden within her troubled mind
Her secret, which was never known

His promise to give her anything she wanted
But HE took her love
Her respect
And made it his.
