Why can't you change?

by dandy   Aug 29, 2004

Why must you hurt us?
Why can't you go away?
You use to be nice, but your mean come today.
Because of you, I'm one Aunt short.
You treat anger as if it's a sport.
Your family's the ball, and you are the bat.
You take one hard swing, and don't care to look back.
Your lucky my grandparents, are so caring.
And the way you repay them,
is stupidly daring.
If it were me, which I hope it is someday,
I'll insult you to the fullest.
I'm going to make you pay!!!!!!!!!!
Your mad at my parents, but they didn't do a thing.
Just seeing you around, tugs at my strings.
You have to ruin everything, you always have to lie.
I see your horrible face and think,
what crawled into you and died?
We never did anything to you,
we all gave you love.
But you refuse to settle things,
push always comes to shove.
I don't know what your hiding, but I know there's something wrong.
There has been for many years,
stop playing tall and strong.
We're your family and we could help you,
but you don't want to spill.
So until that day comes along,
your life will be uphill.
Your lucky you know.
You have a guy, and he's a very decent man.
But he puts up with you, I don't know how,
because I know I never can.
You'd better open your eyes,
and it better be soon,
because right now your blind.
I don't think love will penetrate your hate.
Your true feelings are so confined.
So until that day when you come to your senses,
don't go ruining things for us.
Life isn't perfect for us either,
so quit with your BS fuss.
