The True Meaning of Love

I wrote this early hours of the morning becuase I couldn't sleep...it's not very long or good but it still means something...

I look back on all the memories, wishing I could be that girl once again.
To be that girl again, the one you once loved
You once loved me and I wish it could still be that way
That way everything would still be picture perfect
But picture perfect never lasts forever
Forever is what you could've given to me
You've given to me the true meaning of love
The true meaning of love is you

    "To be that girl again, the one you once loved" when I read that sentence I just started crying. This is exactly how I feel about the person I love, and when he says "I loved you" I just want to break down and cry. Great poem :)
