You were so happy you were so in love,
and I stood by, knowing he was the wrong guy.
I remember the day he broke your heart,
and I stood by as I watched you cry.
He was unfaithful yet you still remained,
and I stood by and witnessed this lie.
He hit you, slapped you,beat you and smacked you.
and I stood by and didn't try.
One day he took it way to far,
